In the middle of the room or against the wall: finding the right place
Freestanding models require more space than classic
rectangular baths. It is usually not recommended to place the tub exactly in the middle of a room. It is better to look for the proximity to an adjacent element, for example a wall or a room divider, leaving an area for movement of at least 50 cm around the tub.
Bring colour into your bathroom: free-standing bathtubs in various designs
The design has a great influence on the effect of the tub.
Round bathtubs, for example, are particularly elegant. Which
design line you choose depends solely on your taste.
Our freestanding bathtubs are available in classic shapes and colours, but also in unusual designs, such as
BetteLoft Ornament with a geometric pattern in the bath cladding, or
BetteLux Oval Couture with an upholstered bath panelling. Free-floating in a powder-coated steel frame, the
BetteLux Shape is particularly minimalist in design.
Statics and connections must be considered
If you want to buy a freestanding bathtub, you should also consider the statics of your bathroom beforehand. Especially in old buildings, it may be making sense to make a calculation. It is also important to lay the pipes in the right place and select the fittings. Our experts and
official dealers will be happy to help you here. Alternatively, you are also welcome to
contact our specialist staff on these topics.
